He has appeared on television as a travel expert more than 500 times, including segments on <em>Today,<\/em> <em>Good Morning, America,<\/em> <em>CBS Morning News<\/em>, the BBC, Fox News Channel, Bloomberg TV, and CNBC, where for many years he appeared every Friday for a \u201cGetaway Day\u201d segment on <em>Power Lunch.<\/em> Orwoll is currently a freelance writer, and has published his travel stories in <em>Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler, <\/em>AARP.com, The Travel Channel, <em>Robb Report, Town &amp; Country,<\/em> <em>Porthole Cruise &amp; Travel,<\/em> and his hometown favorite, T+L. He is the author of <em>e-Travel,<\/em> one of the first books on how to plan your vacations online, and, more recently, <em>John Wayne Speaks: The Ultimate John Wayne Quote Book<\/em> (St. Martin\u2019s Griffin, 2021), an Amazon Hot New Release.
